Who was Hector? (mythology)

   Hector is a character in Homer's Iliad; leader of the army of Troy in the Trojan War famed for valor. The eldest son of Priam ant Hecuba; husband of Andromache; father of Astyanax. Hector was killed by Achilles in revenge for his slaying of Patroclus; his body was dragged three times around the walls of Troy.
