Catharine Ann Warfield,

   Catharine Ann Warfield was an American poet and novelist; born near Natchez, Miss., June 6, 1816. She published with her sister Eleanor, The Wife of Leon, and Other Poems (1844), The Indian Chamber, etc. (1846), and wrote The Household of Bouverie (1860), The Romance of the Oreen Seal (1867), Miriam Monfort (1873), Hester Howard's Temptation (1875), A Doulle Wedding (1875), Sea and Shore (1876), The Romance of Beauseincourt (1876), Ferne Fleming (1877), The Cardinal's Daughter (1877). She died in Kentucky, May 21, 1877.
