Antonio Francesco Grazzini (1503-1583) was an Italian author, wrote several comedies, including
La gelosia,
La spiritata,
I parentadi,
La pinzockera, and
L'arzigogola; also
Le cene, a collection of tales on the lines of Boccaccio's
Decameron. He was one of the founders, in 1540, of the "Accademia degli Umidi," and later of the "Academia della Crusca," societies, in which he passed by the name of "Il Lasca," his literary pseudonym.
