School laboratories provide the facilities for doing basic experiments in CHEMISTRY, physics, and biology. In industrial laboratories, methods of production and testing are developed. Automobile, petroleum, and food production industries provide laboratories of this kind. In medical laboratories, examinations of blood and other body fluids and functions are made.
Testing laboratories, often private, examine and evaluate products for manufacturers, in order to improve their quality or develop new products.
