Lemming-mice

   Lemming-mice is a certain small, mice-like animals closely related to the lemmings and having similar traits, inhabit the region about Hudson Bay and the southern part of Greenland, of which the most prominent is Cuniculus torquatus, chiefly remarkable for its turning white in winter. Other species belong to the genera Synaptomys, Lemmus, etc.
